I had so much fun doing this show in July! And then I was so sad that it was over.
So when TOJ asked me if I wanted to do another weekend I said “absolutely!” Then Vios Cafe & Marketplace jumped into the fray and said “Hey, why not give a 15% discount off dinner before the show when you present your BPT receipt?” And I said “absolutely!”.
Make a date, have some dinner and then head on down to TOJ and laugh your dessert off!
Join Jennifer for an evening of hilarious storytelling.

What audience members are saying:
“What a sparkling gem of an evening! What strikes me is the honesty, the movement, the transition-on-a-dime.”
“About a quarter way into the show I was convinced we may have been separated at birth. And by intermission I had fallen in love.”
“I laughed so hard at one point I almost wet myself … hilarious, authentic and poignant.”
Printer’s Devil Theater, in association with Theatre Off Jackson, presents a night of twisted and hilarious personal storytelling from Jennifer Jasper in I Can Hear You … But I’m Not Listening. Unscripted and improvised, Jasper explores her experiences as the middle daughter in a family of five girls with colorful (and off-color) stories. From her early efforts at speech therapy to her Laura Ingalls Wilder obsession to her discovery of her grandfather’s “interesting” hobby, Jasper’s expert comic skills and her gift for wringing laughs from the dark and uncomfortable moments of growing up make each performance unique and revealing.
