I had three grapes, two glasses of wine and one night I will remember forever. Standing among the shelves of Samuel French plays I marveled at the journey that got me here with no major mishaps along the way. No lost luggage, no missed flights and no doubt that it is all totally worth it.
The most exciting aspect as I moved closer to the trip and resonated with me last night was the fact that NO ONE knows me here. No one knows who I am or what I have done, which I find so freeing. All they know is one play. Ten minutes. And the more I think about it, that ten minutes is plenty to get a sense of who I am.
I really did want to be a professional speller.
Off to explore more of NYC.
